1:00 AM – Here’s Mazy heading down the trail in what looks like a blizzard. But what kind of blizzard? Not snow, of course, but it seems to be insects. Maybe it was rain, but I don’t think so. It’s creepy. No one likes a suffocating insect blizzard.

We have cameras in a new location. The one at theĀ  bottom of the tree, aimed at the ground where seed falls from the Squirrelbuster, caught these Cardinals feeding and sharing food.

In this one, Finches seem to have adapted well to the new location of the Squirrelbuster.

1:00 AM – Our Yard Cam was knocked to the ground by a marauding squirrel, knocking the color balance out of whack. Still, these are interesting videos of ground feeding birds, in lovely pink.

Ground Squirrel on the Trail Cam. We’re going to have to move this camera – it’s just too dark at that location.

1:00 AM – Here’s a video from the new location of the Squirrel Buster. This is proof that the Squirrel Buster lives up to its name.

Another Squirrel video, this one of a squirrel checking out the pool, and deciding to pass on the water. It might have been too shallow to comfortably reach, as in the video below.

Finally, a Finch discovers that she can’t reach the water in Mazy’s pool.
