1:00 AM – It’s been raining for a few days now, and all the seed is wet. That’s not stopping Mrs. Cardinal.
The Blue Bowl is filled with water instead of seed after the rain. A Purple Finch and a Cardinal show up to take a look. Then a brief appearance by a Downy Woodpecker.
1:00 AM – Lots and lots of woodpeckers on the cylinder feeder.
The blue bowl, with feed in it, is attracting a lot of birds, including this Purple Finch.
1:00 AM – Mr. Cardinal is a dainty sipper.
Another selfish Finch – there are plenty of them around.

The One Eared Squirrel is very skittish. That’s probably good for his chances of survival.

But when she runs into a Carolina Wren, she meets her match.
1:00 AM – The Downy Woodpeckers are still around, but we don’t see them much on camera.

1:00 AM – We haven’t seen one of these Downy Woodpeckers in a while. I’m sure they’re still out there, but we used to catch them on the ‘Suet Cam’, which is not longer operating.
First time we’ve seen two Finches sharing food.
