1:00 AM – Blue Jay acrobatics – one hits the rail on both claws and bounces over another. In slow-motion. At the end of the clip, we get a bonus squirrel:
Like the video of Bruno and a Towhee from a few days ago, here’s one of a Towhee and Mazy:
Chickadee on the mealworm feeder:

1:00 AM – Mazy on a ramble.
Mazy on a midnight ramble:
Friday – 12.28.2018
1:00 AM – The very first wildlife captured on our new trailcam:
Goldfinch and Sparrow sharing.
Another pair of birds of different species feeding together.
Monday – 9.3.2018
1:00 AM- Montage of traffic on the trail. We have a cat, possum, raccoon, and mystery guest.
Eastern Towhee scratching up seed on the ground doesn’t want to share with other birds.
A couple of House Finches looking around.
Wednesday – 8.22.2018
1:00 AM – Finch and Chickadee taking turns on the cylinder feeder:
If you ever wondered what Mazy does after a wallow, now you know.
Friday – 8.17.2018
1:00 AM – We relocated the cylinder feeder further out in the yard. So far, we’ve seen a lot of Finch and Chickadee activity:
Mazy dining in elegance:
A possum like fine things too:
Saturday – 7.28.2018
1:00 AM – Robin ground feeding. Still not the best quality, but a little better.
Mazy descends the path with regal dignity. More or less. We took the pool out of service for a few days, a big disappointment for her. We’ll restore it today or tomorrow. Wallowing in the water is a close second to eating as her favorite activity.
Squabble between a Wren and, I think, a Finch. These things happen in the bird world.
Thursday – 7.19.2018
1:00 AM – Here’s Mazy heading down the trail in what looks like a blizzard. But what kind of blizzard? Not snow, of course, but it seems to be insects. Maybe it was rain, but I don’t think so. It’s creepy. No one likes a suffocating insect blizzard.
We have cameras in a new location. The one at theĀ bottom of the tree, aimed at the ground where seed falls from the Squirrelbuster, caught these Cardinals feeding and sharing food.
In this one, Finches seem to have adapted well to the new location of the Squirrelbuster.
Wednesday – 7.18.2018
1:00 AM – Midnight Cams catch this possum cruising around the yard.
Disappointed Puppy. We took down the Mazy wading pool temporarily.
